King’s Klobber is the second-hand uniform shop of The King’s School, Gloucester.
It is run by a group of volunteer parents (and grandparents) of pupils.
We each do one hour shift a month and occasionally extra should the need arise.
We provide a service whereby parent’s can sell on good quality uniform. When we sell an item 75% of the money goes to the parent and 25% is donated to the school. Some parents choose to give all of it to ‘school funds’ and unclaimed lost property is also 100% school funds.
Once a year a cheque is sent to parents (if their sales amount to more than £10) and a donation is made to the school.
King’s Klobber volunteers receive 100% of their sales in gratitude for their time and effort.
If you would like to help by volunteering please call Natalie Juna on 07828 912068 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To make a clothing donation either pop in on a Thursday 3.15pm – 4.30pm or drop it into Paddock House. If you could seal the bags and make sure you have clearly labelled it with your name, address (to send the cheque) and phone number we will know who to allocate it to. If we cannot find any details we allocate it 100% to school funds. We also suggest that if you have anything of high value you also label this individually with your details.
